AN EVENING AT DAYSPRING - HOPE IN ACTION

MEETING OUR LITTLE GIRLS FOR THE FIRST TIME
DAYSPRING HAS EIGHT LITTLE GIRLS
WHAT BEAUTIES THEY ALL ARE

Lynn is a hit!

Mama Acel is telling them the stories about their new
Beanie Babies
(What a great donation this was!)

Papa Talant - is a major big "hero" for the little girls.  They love him
and show this in so many ways.

The attachment that has developed between Acel and the girls is
beautiful to watch.

"No I am seven!"  (Can't speak or count well in Russian?  No problem, fingers still work!

SOME OF THE STORY

We had a donor introduced to us several years ago.  This donor is committed to rescuing children who would otherwise have been left on the streets, sent to orphanages or kept in abusive situations.   With their support we purchased the home - we now call Dayspring.  It is a large six bedroom home.  We renovated the home, carried out the agreements with the local government and included it into our statute for our registered organization in Kyrgyzstan.

We decided this PILOT project would be to bring permanency to 10 little girls.  We hired a family, other staff and opened the home and waited for our little girls.  We heard the stories of children needing homes, saw the children in the markets begging and yet it took MONTHS for the city government to agree to complete all the necessary paperwork.  Now it is done and we have a good relationship with the local authorities and we also have been blessed with a home full of joyful and fascinating little girls.

Tonight, we met the little girls for the first time.  It was an awesome time.  They were expecting us and we were greeted with glee.  We are so honored to be part of this path of rescuing these little ones.  One child - at a time.

We thank each of you for helping us carry out this demonstration of HOPE and DIGNITY.  We need your support and each child will benefit from the ongoing gifts you give.

Clothing, medical needs, food, toys, schooling - just each need being met ensures each child continues moving forward toward a better future.

AND WE BELIEVE - IN A WORLD WITHOUT ORPHANS - STARTING ONE CHILD AND ONE COUNTRY AT A TIME!
