MAY REPORT FROM KYRGYZSTAN - OLGA, writes:

The month of May has flown by very quickly, because it was very rich in different events. The school year ends. The children handed over the books, to finish essays and preparing for exams during this month. Living together in the same house, the children exhibited qualities, which were not visible. I would like to share a few situations.

Janybek became very friendly with the youth of the Church "Temple of God." He went to other churches sometimes, but Janybek has changed a lot during this month. He tries not to miss the youth ministry and Sunday, going to the mountains for a night of prayer and wants to go to summer camp. He always walks in high spirit. Janybek loves to play with Mark and sometimes behaves like a small child. Very pleased that he is becoming more open and cheerful.

Omurbek had an opportunity to spend time in Bishkek with his friends. Kostya gave him money to go. Omurbek returned the money to Kostya the next day and said, that he decided not to go with friends. Of course, the question: "Why?" Omurbek explained, that his friends drink, smoke, swear, and he was not interested in being in this atmosphere.

Conscious, independent and the right choice!

We had a guest from Chui boarding school. His name is Nikifor. He is 17 years old and he finishes 9th grade. We invited him to show the house. He will live in the Jeremiah house.   Coming to Jeremiah House is a choice!  Children welcomed him very well. Mark shared his fruit ice, Jenya brought biscuits. Omurbek warmed up food and sat down to eat with Nikifor.

We know that Omurbek does not like to communicate with strangers. But he spoke with Nikifor all the way from the orphanage and during the dinner time. We were surprised and happy for Omurbek! Nikifor wants to live with us.
